Joined in Lionism in the year 2000 and has been served in different capacities in lions club and district. Such as club president, district cabinet secretary, district co-ordinator, LCIF chairman, government area representative , zone chair person etc .

He is the only lion member in the district and state initiated to start permanent projects , those projects were completed.

Puttagunta V Sateesh Kumar health club - it was inaugurated by International President lion Amarasurya in 2006-07 . Traffic police station building - it was inaugurated by International President lion Barry Palmer during 2012-13.
